PRINCIPAL’S REPORT

We are already more than halfway through Term 4 and the last few weeks will, no doubt, fly by as they always do at this busy time of year. Our Year 10 students have established clear study and work pathways for 2023, and they, along with the Year 10 teaching team, are to be commended on this. Similarly, our Year 12 students have had another successful year and have set themselves up to be successful in their future endeavours.

Next year’s Year 7 students attended the school on Wednesday for their Orientation Day. This was a huge success. Students were able to experience ‘a day in the life’ of a high school student and get a taste of what to expect next year. Thank you to Mr Lendvay and Mrs Fox for all the organisation that went into this day, setting these students up for a smooth transition to Exeter High School next year.

Mrs Robinson, Mrs Saville and Mr Stewart took our Inter-High Athletics Team to the inter-schools competition last week. Our team did us proud once again. I am always impressed with how Exeter High School punches above its weight in these events. This is due to the outstanding attitude and application that our students have towards representing our school.

In readiness for end-of-year activities, it is very important that students bring all the necessary permission forms back to allow them to attend these fun days.
