Principal’s Report
I must say, this term has been the most interesting and challenging of my career; but at the same time, I have been constantly amazed at how our students, staff and parents have successfully navigated their way through the changes that we have had to deal with. I am really looking forward to getting back to normality in our school, with students expected back in classes as of June 9. As has been the case previously, when students return, the expectations around behaviour, engagement and learning will be very high. Our core values of Respect, Learning, Maturity and Acceptance will be evident in all aspects of our school and this will ensure that our transition back to our normal routines will be a smooth one.
Teachers will be completing a Mid-Year Report at the end of this term to provide a guide to parents as to where their child is academically in the areas of English, Mathematics, Science and HASS. There will also be a Wellbeing comment to inform parents how their child has coped with the recent changes in relation to their education. These will be posted out in the second week of Term 3.

MDT Report
Over the last 2 or 3 months our students have faced several challenges including collapsed classes, friendship groups diminished, online learning and lots of rules.
I have been so pleased with the attitude of the MDT students; they have flourished. They have developed their own individual projects and the creativity is impressive. They have worked with great enthusiasm and shown a flair for design. They have also shown patience and support for others. Our students should be very proud of themselves.
